During retirement, the two spent much of their time traveling, visiting their children and grandchildren. in 1987, Nancy re-entered the workforce and worked for several years at Jack’s Hallmark in Jerseyville until John’s retirement in 1997. where they flourished for several years before moving to Mount Ayr, IA. before his career took them to Modale, IA. She and John made their home in his hometown of Council Bluffs, IA. After leaving the workforce she focused her time on being a loving wife and mother to her family. Nancy worked as an executive secretary for Lueder Construction in Omaha for several years. She married the love of her life, John Fell on Jin Omaha and together their marriage was blessed with four sons and 52 years of marriage before his death on June 7, 2014. Nancy and her family moved around throughout much of her childhood and she graduated with the class of 1951 from Saint John’s High School in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born on Augin Verdigre, Nebraska, one of four children born to the late James Patrick and Alice Margaret (Sabatka) Marron.
